The Baby Has Landed...

Cheese, silver & glass...what do these have in common? It seems that it doesn't have anything to do with each other however, these were the characteristics associated with the moon. Yes the moon that revolves around the earth. It was at the start of the 17th Century that man had a more scientific view of the moon. It would take another 350 years before we had the technology to first send a rover and then man on the moon.
In 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first man on the moon and something that seemed so far suddenly became a reality.

On the 12th of January, 2014, our Stephanie Tia turned 2. Time has surely flown faster than a jet plane and the baby that was the length of my forearm is now a bit heavy for me to carry up the stairs :). When we look back, we cant help but marvel at God's engineering as our Stephanie Tia is perfect at all stages of her life. Sure there are times that we wish that she was an infant again but we always appreciate every aspect and look forward to the life that lies ahead.

You may wonder how this ties with the moon. Well, before there was reliable information, myths and inaccuracies were abound about the moon but this all changed with time. Same thing as Stephanie Tia, before she was born, we always wondered what she would look like, how she would sound like and what her character would be like. Now after seeing her in her first two years of her life, we can see how she is turning up to be. God has truly blessed us with a wonderful little human being and as we do our best to mould her into a God fearing person, she has in turn taught us more than you can imagine. As much as we teach her, we have also become a student in more ways than one. We have learned patience, love and more importantly, the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Let class continue...
