You can't have your Baby and love her too...

You may wonder why I haven't updated this blog in quite a while. Writers block, earthquakes, a virus disabled my pc...no my friends, as any new parent would testify, having a new baby changes your life tremendously. Time is truly precious as every second is spent taking care of your little baby.
Your sleep will be counted in minutes instead of hours, every cry will be greeted with anxiety and worry on what baby needs and any free time will be used for rest instead of going out to movies and dates.
But first, let me belatedly inform you readers that our little princess, Stephanie Tia was born on the 12th of January, 2012. With an Apgar Score of a perfect 10, we thank our Father in Heaven for His promise fulfilled as me and my wife prayed everyday for a perfect and healthy baby. When I saw my baby for the first time, tears fell as I was in awe at how beautiful and precious she was. Even now, I pinch myself confirm I am not dreaming when i see my baby.
Stephanie will be 4 months in a weeks time and she is changing everyday. Everything she does shows how good our Lord is. So if you ask me or my wife if the sleepless nights, lack of rest and loss of social life is worth it...I would say YES!

From Diaper Speedster to Running Superstar: My Baby's Incredible Journey

You won't believe it, but my daughter has discovered her love for running! It's like she was bitten by the running bug, and there's no stopping her now. Who would've thought that running was hiding in our genes all this while? Well, except for Papa, who was a state runner, but let's not digress. Back when she was just a tiny tot, she was already showing signs of being a speed demon. I remember those diaper days when she waddled faster than a speeding bullet, and my wife and I would chase after her like we were in a race against time. The Bard was an exquisite playwright and poet and the famous line of his from his play, Romeo & Juliet states, "A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet" came when Romeo was trying to woo Juliet even though knowing that their families would never agree to their union as they were sworn enemies. In this case, what's in a name? A name can signify kingship as in David, an explorer as in Marco or even a nurse as in Florence. I believe a name is a very important part of anyone. Me and my wife have gone through the vast expanse of baby names to come up with a perfect name for our little madam. Out of the thousands of names possible, what was the one name we decided was perfect for baby. Of course, we prayed and asked God first for His guidance before doing anything and after much thought and discussion, we finally decided...
